TOMOKI NOMURA

TOMOKI NOMURA

Originally from Japan, Tomoki is a multidisciplinary furniture designer and artist whose creative vision has been shaped by a life lived across continents. Since the age of 13, he has lived in multiple countries, immersing himself in diverse cultures and ways of life—experiences that have deeply informed his design philosophy. His global perspective and keen eye for detail allow him to merge traditional craftsmanship with contemporary aesthetics, creating furniture with timeless appeal and functionality that transcends borders.

Tomoki’s work is built on a deep respect for materials and an uncompromising pursuit of excellence. Every piece he creates is defined by precision, intentionality, and understated elegance—designed not merely to fill a space, but to elevate its atmosphere and character. Beyond form and function, he sees the ethics of production as an essential part of design. By partnering exclusively with workshops and artisans who share his values, he ensures fair wages, responsible sourcing, and the preservation of integrity at every stage of the creative process.

For Tomoki, design is more than making furniture—it is about creating cultural experiences. In brand collaborations, his work expands both the practical value and the storytelling potential of a product. In exhibitions, his objects transform entire spaces into works of art. When paired with a creative platform such as JESSO CREATIVES, his global sensibility and relentless attention to detail can give rise to projects that seamlessly blend tradition and modernity, function and artistry.

Through this thoughtful approach, Tomoki continues to expand the boundaries of what furniture and design can express, creating pieces that serve as both artistic statements and enduring objects of everyday life.
