FORGOTTEN SCENT

At night, the King rests in solitude, its vigilance momentarily softened.
In the stillness, a faint scent passes—unexpected, almost imperceptible—yet powerful enough to fracture time.
What was once buried returns at once: forgotten ambitions, unspoken desires, emotions from a younger self long set aside.

Scent moves differently than thought. It bypasses reason and arrives directly at memory, awakening parts of the self that had gone dormant.
In this moment, the past is not revisited with longing, but reabsorbed with clarity. What was once dismissed as youthful or impractical reveals itself as unfinished rather than obsolete.

The alignment of stars above suggests readiness—not coincidence, but timing. The world has shifted enough to receive what was once premature.
